Horseware Australia announced as major sponsor for Victorian Interschool Equestrian State Championships.
Interschool Victoria has announced the major sponsors for its equestrian state championships to be held in April at the Werribee Park National Equestrian Centre.
In a deal that will deliver major benefits for the sport, Horseware Australia has been named as the event’s Platinum Sponsor and the event will be known as the Horseware Australia Victorian Interschool Equestrian State Championships.
Horseware Australia will provide custom-designed trophy rugs for the champions in every class and custom-made saddle blankets for all the reserve champions.
Horseware Australia will also custom-make the championship rugs, and the Victorian Team saddle blankets and rugs, for the Marcus Oldham Australian Interschool Championships, to be held at Werribee in September.
Lisa Hocking, Interschool Victoria Committee Chair and Event Director, said “Horseware Australia’s extraordinarily generous sponsorship raises the bar for our sport and will see all our champions and reserves parading in stunning rugs and saddle blankets.
“We are hugely appreciative and look forward to working in partnership with Horseware Australia.”
Horseware Australia General Manager Sarah Jane Colhoun said “We are delighted to be supporting this amazing event with so many interschool riders competing.
“Horseware Australia products are renowned for their quality, fit, designs and colours, so we will be proudly helping to establish a new standard for the state championships.”
Gold and silver sponsors have also been secured for the state championships. Gold sponsors include Ashford Park, who are supporting the dressage, Greystone Australia for the show jumping, Off the Track for the combined training, and Stegbar for the Show Horse.
Matthew Brown, CEO of Equestrian Victoria, said the sport would benefit enormously from the support of the sponsors.
“The Horseware Australia Victorian Interschool Equestrian State Championships involves thousands of people, including around 500 competitors and many more supporters, coaches, judges and volunteers.
“As the students and their equine partners strive to do their best they will also have the backing of these wonderful sponsorship partners.
“EV and the Interschool Victoria committee thank the sponsors and look forward to working with them to make the event a great success.”
